The log data are deleted automatically after a short period; if there is justified suspicion of unlawful use, we reserve the right to examine them in the individual case.
This website is delivered over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS), which you can see in your browser's address bar. Data you send to us therefore cannot readily be read by third parties.

The details are sent to our mailbox and stored there. We use them solely to answer your enquiry and for any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry serves to initiate or perform a contract, otherwise our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) together with the consent you give when submitting the form (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.
We delete the data as soon as your enquiry has been dealt with conclusively and no statutory retention obligations apply. Commercial correspondence is subject to retention periods of six to ten years under German commercial and tax law.
The same applies if you write to us by e-mail instead. Please note that sending an unencrypted e-mail does not offer full protection against access by third parties.
The technology comparison runs entirely in your browser; your entries do not leave your computer. Only if you click "Send calculation as Excel file" at the end of the page do we transmit an Excel file with your gas data (volume flow, H2S concentrations, options selected), the assumptions set and the results by e-mail to our mailbox. The file contains no names, e-mail addresses or other details about you.
We use the data to prepare enquiries technically and to check our calculation model. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in doing so (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). To prevent misuse we store an irreversible hash of your IP address for ten minutes in order to limit the number of sendings per connection; it is then deleted. We delete the e-mail as soon as it is no longer needed for these purposes.
If you apply for a position with us, we process the data you send us for that purpose: your contact details, covering letter, curriculum vitae, references and any other documents you enclose.
We process these data solely in order to decide on your application and to carry out the application procedure. The legal basis is Section 26 (1) of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (decision on the establishment of an employment relationship). Providing your data is voluntary; without them, however, we cannot process your application.
Access to your documents is limited to the management and the persons involved in filling the position. The data are not passed on to third parties.
If no employment relationship results, we delete or destroy your documents six months after the procedure has been completed. This period allows us to respond to any claims under the German General Equal Treatment Act (AGG). If you would like us to keep your documents beyond that for future vacancies, please tell us; we will do so only with your express consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time. If you are hired, we transfer the data to your personnel file.
If you send your application by e-mail, the note above applies: an unencrypted e-mail can be read by third parties in transit. Applications by post reach us at the address given above.
This website loads every file needed to display it – typeface, style sheets, icons, images and scripts – exclusively from our own server. Opening the pages therefore transmits no data to third parties. In particular, there is no connection to Google Fonts, to content delivery networks (CDNs) or to social networks.
The map on our contact page is a static image loaded from our own server. No data are transmitted to map providers when the page is opened. Only when you click the map does Google Maps open in a new window; from that point on, Google's privacy notices apply.
